Radian Systems successfully participated in the Small Satellites & Services International Forum (SSSIF) 2024, held this past February in Málaga, Spain. The forum, promoted by one of the world’s leading solar panel manufacturers, DHV, once again brought together the full spectrum of the Spanish and international space sector for a highly productive event. This year, both of Radian’s co-founders attended the forum, underscoring the company’s commitment to the local ecosystem and its global network.

The event was particularly significant as it marked the full-time re-immersion of co-founder and Commercial Director, Laura González Llamazares, into the Spanish space landscape. After three years combining her work at Radian with a role at the Satellite Applications Catapult in the UK, Laura has now transitioned to full-time leadership of Radian’s commercial and business development activities. Her presence at SSSIF provided a perfect platform for her to reconnect and fully engage with the dynamic Spanish and international space sector.

The co-founders spent their time at SSSIF reconnecting with friends, collaborators, customers, and key figures across the industry. The energy and enthusiasm circulating at the event were palpable and contagious, reaffirming the vast possibilities that lie ahead for the small satellite industry.

It was fantastic to witness the latest innovation, exchange ideas on the future of space technology, and forge new connections that will be instrumental in Radian’s continued growth and success within this exciting global environment. Radian remains dedicated to supporting the space community through agile thermal analysis solutions.

Radian’s participation in SSSIF 2024 has been possible thanks to the support from the Generalitat de Catalunya (Departament d’Empresa i Treball) and funded by the European Union Next Generation EU (Pla de Recuperació, Transformació i Resiliència).
